How much does a Greet cost?
Every Greet is absolutely FREE OF COST. Greeters do not work for tips but rather, the enjoyment of promoting Denver, and meeting visitors from around the world. In lieu of tipping, please consider making a donation to Denver Greeter to help with operating costs of this volunteer organization. Suggested donations for visitors is $10-25USD/visitor depending on how much help you received and what you thought the service was worth to you.
Can I support the Denver Greeter financially?
Yes, we very much appreciate donations as our volunteer organization is fully dependent on them to cover operating costs. Please send contributions through your Venmo mobile app @DenverGreeter. PayPal donations are also accepted through paypal.me/DenverGreeter (managed by Founder Diane Yee).
How long in advance do I have to request a Greeter?
We ask that you submit your request at least (4) weeks prior to your visit to adequately pair you with the best Greeter and so that they can assist you with your questions and plans. If it’s within 4 weeks please email denvergreeter@gmail.com.
